Southern Milk Region - King Island
Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA) will enter into this Milk Supply Agreement with you, for the supply of milk during the 2020/21 milk year subject to:
- your farm(s) being located on King Island;
- SDA’s reasonable determination (acting in good faith) that you are capable of meeting the terms of the Milk Supply Agreement, including the Milk Quality Standard (detailed in Chapter 4 of the Supplier Handbook, attached as Schedule 1 to the Milk Supply Agreement) and the Milk Collection and On Farm Requirements (detailed in Chapter 7 of the Supplier Handbook, attached as Schedule 1 to the Milk Supply Agreement); and
- SDA not already having entered into sufficient milk supply agreements to meet SDA’s demand for milk.
From a fairness perspective, SDA’s preference is for milk supply agreements to be standard across its supplier base. On this basis, unless exceptional circumstances arise, SDA does not intend to enter into individual negotiations concerning this milk supply agreement template with individual suppliers.
